The site was originally developed in February 2008 from the basic design of other web sites which I have written using basic HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript. Some of these sites have been in existence since 2005 and really needed an update to their design/presentation.
This site - being quite small and relatively new - provided the ideal basis of revamping the other sites with the use of graphical design software.
For many years, I have used Serif’s PAGE PLUS* software for the production of a Newsletter for Crewe & Nantwich Rambling Club. This software uses a graphical layout process, which in recent updates has been evolved to be capable of applying such a process to WEB SITE design.
Using this latest level of PAGE PLUS software, I have taken the opportunity to evolve a master design format for a standard page, which can then be used as the basis for all of the web sites which I maintain.
* The software level currently in use is PAGE PLUS 11 1.03
