BACKGROUND TO PROBUS

PROBUS (PRO - professional & BUS - Business ) is a worldwide organisation
for men who have retired from local businesses..

It evolved out of the Rotary Organisation in the late 1960’s to provide for the social well being
of retired business men - there are now many thousands of such groups all around the world.

Crewe & District Probus is one of a number of such groups in the Crewe & Nantwich area
and holds monthly meetings provide the opportunity for both social interaction
and interesting talks.

In addition, a Spring Lunch and a Christmas Lunch for members and their ladies are organised.

Current Annual Subscriptions is £10 with a Meetings Fee of £1.00
which includes Coffee/Tea & Biscuits.

Potential members can attend up to 3 meetings as a Guest before joining the Club.
