10th January 2012
The Final Annual General Meeting took place in the Oakley Centre. Following the normal proceedings, the President for 2010-12 moved a motion to formally disband the Club. This was unanimously accepted by the meeting. After clearing all debts, the remaining funds will be distributed to 4 local charities.
The Chain of Office and official minute books will be deposited on loan to the Local History Unit at Crewe Library.

The Annual General Meeting took place in the Oakley Centre. Mr Peter Norbury continued into his 2nd year of office.

LADIES DAY  -  Members and their ladies were thoroughly  entertained by  The Verdin Ladies Choir
A vote of thanks on behalf of the ladies was given by the President’s Lady

The club sadly reports the recent deaths of Honorary member Douglas Pugh & members George Young  and Geoff Douglas
Past  President Eric Mollison & his wife celebrated their Diamond Wedding and were presented with a bouquet of flowers by current President Peter Norbury

The Annual General Meeting took place in the Oakley Centre -  Mr Peter Norbury was installed as the new President for 2010-12 by the Retiring President for 2008-2010 Dr Bryan Roe. See photograph in the Photo Gallery.
