The President braved the horrendous wintry conditions to visit Doug Scoffham and present him with his honorary membership certificate. See photograph in the Photo Gallery.

LADIES DAY -
A vote of thanks on behalf of the ladies was given by the President’s Lady.
30th November 2009
50 members and Guests met at The Manor House Hotel, Alsager, Cheshire for their Annual Christmas Lunch.
They enjoyed an excellent 3 course Christmas Meal and the company of friends.

The Meetings programme for 2010 was added to the web site.
1st November 2009
On the morning of this day, Past President Alan Banham (year 2005) passed away suddenly at home after a short period in hospital. His funeral is at 11.00 on 10th November 2009 at St Andrews Church, Bedford Street, Crewe. As this coincides with the normal club meeting, the speaker has been cancelled and the meeting will finish before 10.30 to allow members to attend the funeral.

Douglas Scoffham was approved by the members to be offered Honorary Membership of the Club following his resignation from the club due to domestic circumstances.
11th August 2009
Douglas Pugh was approved by the members to be offered Honorary Membership of the Club following his resignation from the club due to ill health. The presentation of his certificate was made by the President to Douglas at his home on 26th October, the delay being due to a period of hospitalisation. See photograph in the Photo Gallery
17th March 2009
Daniel Kirkham was presented with Honorary Membership of the Club by the President. Daniel now lives in Hitchin, where the presentation was made in his new home. See photograph in the Photo Gallery
